The Brief

GoGoride needed more than a website — it needed a working booking platform. Customers had to be able to get an instant fare estimate, choose a ride type and book a trip; the business needed drivers to sign up and the whole booking flow to run reliably, every single day.

This wasn't a brochure site with a contact form. It was a functional product the business would run its operations on — so it had to be built properly on both the front-end (what customers see and use) and the back-end (the logic that makes it all work).

What We Built

Umair handled both ends of the build. On the customer side: a clean booking flow, a live fare estimator that prices a trip the moment a pickup and drop-off are entered, selectable ride types, and airport transfers — plus rider accounts so customers can manage their bookings.

On the operations side: driver sign-up, the account and booking systems, and the underlying logic that ties pickup, drop-off, fare and ride together into a working platform. The result is a self-contained taxi-booking application, not a template with a plugin bolted on.

Online booking

A straightforward flow that takes a customer from pickup and drop-off to a confirmed ride.

Live fare estimator

Instant, transparent pricing the moment a journey is entered — no surprises at the end.

Driver & rider accounts

Sign-up and account systems for both drivers and passengers.

Multiple ride types

Economy, premium and premium-SUV options to suit the trip.

Airport transfers

A dedicated path for airport pickups and drop-offs.

Built front-to-back

Both the customer-facing interface and the back-end logic, developed and maintained by Umair.

The Result

GoGoride launched in 2018 and is still live and in daily use today at gogoride.us — years of real-world operation for a working taxi business. For a small operator, that longevity is the whole point: a booking platform that simply keeps working, day after day.

It's also the clearest proof of what Umair can build beyond standard business websites — a genuine, functional web application that a company relies on to run. (Sean remains a client to this day.)
