Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
The Web Makers is the public brand of The Web Makers LLC, a UAE-registered, founder-led web design company based in Sharjah and operated by Umair Ahmed Khan. This Privacy Policy explains what information thewebmakers.ae collects when you visit, get in touch or request a quote, how it's used, and the third-party tools involved in running the site. By using this site you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
When you fill in an enquiry or quote form, we collect what you choose to provide — typically your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email address and a description of your project. If you contact us directly by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive whatever information that conversation naturally includes.
The site also collects basic, non-identifying analytics data automatically — such as pages visited, approximate location and device type — through Google Analytics (see Section 3).
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote or proposal.
- To deliver and support any web design, development or maintenance services you request.
- To understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site, so it can be improved.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. The tools this website uses
To keep the site running and to process enquiries, thewebmakers.ae relies on a small number of third-party services. Each only receives the data needed to do its job:
- Web3Forms — processes and delivers the contact and quote forms on this site to our inbox. When you submit a form, the details you enter (name, contact details, enquiry) pass through Web3Forms to reach us.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — collects anonymised, aggregate usage data (pages visited, general location, device type) so we can understand how the site is used. This does not identify you personally.
- Cloudflare — provides hosting infrastructure, security and performance (CDN) for the site, and may process basic technical data such as IP address as part of delivering pages to your browser.
- WhatsApp Business — if you message us via WhatsApp, that conversation is handled through WhatsApp's own platform, governed by Meta's privacy policy in addition to this one.
Each of these providers only receives what's necessary to perform their function and is bound by their own security and privacy standards.
4. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including relying on Cloudflare's security infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 9. We aim to respond within a reasonable time.
6. Cookies
This site uses basic cookies from Google Analytics and Cloudflare to help it function, stay secure, and to understand how visitors use it in aggregate. You can control or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings; the site will still function without them, though usage data will not be collected.
7. UAE data protection
We handle personal information with regard to the UAE's Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). If you have concerns about how your data is handled, please contact us first using the details below so we can address it directly.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the site or the tools it uses change. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
9. Contact us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at [email protected] or via WhatsApp at +971 56 930 0292.
